Drs. Henry Cloud and John Townsend Bio Information
Dr. Henry Cloud and Dr. John Townsend have long worked together as clinical psychologists, authors, radio talk-show hosts, and speakers. They are best known for their award-winning book Boundaries.
Their Ultimate Leadership series on CCN is based on the one-week intensive training program
which they have developed and continue to teach throughout Southern California. They both bring extensive organizational consulting and speaking experience to their teaching.
They are the co-founders and co-directors of Cloud-Townsend Resources. They also co-founded the Minirth-Meier Clinic West and served as co-directors for nine years.
Together, they have authored Boundaries, Boundaries with Kids, Boundaries in Marriage, Boundaries in Dating, 12 "Christian" Beliefs That Can Drive You Crazy, Safe People, The Mom Factor, Raising Great Kids, and How People Grow.
Dr. Townsend is also the author of the best-selling Hiding from Love. He earned his B.A. in psychology with honors from North Carolina State University. He received his Master of Theology degree, also with honors, from Dallas Theological Seminary. He then earned a master's and Ph.D. in clinical psychology from Rosemead Graduate School of Psychology at Biola University.
He is a clinical psychologist and marriage, family, and child therapist. He has an extensive background in both inpatient and outpatient treatment programs, and has a private practice in Newport Beach, California. He is a specialist on such topics as biblical models of personality and character growth, and spiritual issues of psychopathology.
Dr. Cloud is the author of numerous books, including Changes That Heal . He attended college at Southern Methodist University, earning his B.A. in psychology with honors. He then earned a master's and Ph.D. in clinical psychology from Rosemead Graduate School of Psychology at Biola University.
He is a clinical psychologist with an extensive background in both inpatient and outpatient treatment programs, and also has a private practice in Newport Beach, California. He specializes in adult psychotherapy, biblical models of personality functioning and character growth, and spiritual issues of psychopathology. |
