We live in a culture that honors tolerance,
inclusion, relativism. Direct preaching of the Gospel still
changes hearts and minds, but what do you do when the people
listening don’t think they need that kind of change … or
any change for that matter?
Welcome to Subversive Preaching — a
style of preaching that’s never been more necessary
than in this day and age. Because in preaching, it’s
not about tolerance … it’s about respect.
A panel of subversive preachers will help you discover
how:
- To reclaim the poetic, prophetic preaching voice
- Biblical culture can speak to today’s culture
- To connect to younger listeners by asking the right
questions
- To teach better by following the rabbis and observing
their teaching style
- By using things to change people, people will then
begin to change things
Renew your passion for great storytelling, and the impact
that the stories of the Bible can have on this culture.
Prepare to be challenged to a new way of understanding
how we can best communicate the timeless message of hope
and grace to an ever-changing culture.
