with George Barna and special guests
Tuesday, October 1, 2002
8:30 am - 11:00 am Pacific
With society changing so rapidly and dramatically, how can your ministries keep up? Churches don't exist in a vacuum, but are part of a cultural context. To be most effective in ministering inside and outside the church, Christians needs an understanding of the social and spiritual trends shaping the institutions and individuals in their world.
In this unique, informative seminar, George Barna will describe the emerging trends that are impacting your ministries today, and will in the months and years to come. You'll learn how to identify the trends that affect our society as a whole and your community in particular. You'll learn how to adapt, flex, regroup and rethink as you develop your ministry goals and strategies.
In addition to presenting his important statistical research, George will interview pastors who have developed effective ways of using this research data to enhance their ministry efforts. This practical, hands-on input from your colleagues in the trenches will encourage you and help you respond to current trends as you minister in your community.
