How to Build Connection in a Group
Do you have a group where bodies show up or a group where hearts are being knitted together? Research shows that groups are long-lasting when people feel connected at a deep level. Conversely, people leave groups that lack the heart connection. This program will show you what both types of groups look like - and how to accomplish one and avoid the other. |
Dr. Henry Cloud has a vision: a global network of small groups tethered to vibrant, growth-oriented, outwardly-focused churches. Within the small groups, the real life of the church unfolds as members experience, develop, and pass on the character qualities of Jesus. Through this model comes growth -- both for the individual and for the church.
If this is a vision you share -- or would like to explore for your own church -- join Dr. Cloud for a series of evening seminars designed to train, encourage and multiply small group leaders and their members.
With a creative and varied format utilizing video case studies, special guests, role-playing, and hands on learning, Dr. Cloud will guide group leaders through:
- the principles that produce authentic change in people's lives.
- he ingredients of groups that create an environment for personal growth and transformation.
- the roles and responsibilities of an effective leader.
Small group members will also benefit from this in-depth look at what they can -- and should -- expect from the groups they attend.
Dr. Cloud believes that small groups are the future of the church, and that a church with thriving small groups is a church that grows. He'll teach you how to make it happen.
Who should attend these seminars:
- Pastors
- Lay leaders
- Small Group leaders
- Small Group members
